A 32-page booklet covering the entire Technics lineup as of May 1984, divided into seven sections from CD players to audio racks. By this point Technics was pushing Digital Audio hard: the first section belongs to CD players (SL-P8 flagship at 150,000 yen) and SV-series processors for digital recording via VCR. Turntables span a huge range from the Jacket Size SL-N5 at 19,800 yen up to the professional SL-1000MK3D, all with Quartz D.D. direct drive. Cassette decks feature AX amorphous heads and dbx noise reduction, with the RS-B100 at 148,000 yen at the top and the RS-G800 Digital Audio deck alongside it. Amplifiers use the New Class A circuit - integrated models SU-V8X and SU-V6X, plus separates all the way up to the SE-A1 power amp and SU-A2 preamplifier at around one million yen each. Speakers use Honeycomb Disc diaphragms across the SB series, and the CCA (Computer Control Audio) system ties the whole lineup together via computer.
