Sony cassettes under a record-company brand that existed in the 1970s.
CBS/SONY is known as a label of earlier years on records and music tapes, but blank cassettes for recording were sold under the brand too. The packaging and other design elements differed from Sony’s own products, but model names such as LOW-NOISE, Duad and AHF were the same, and the cassettes themselves also appear to have been the same. Besides the regular products, original cassettes featuring characters licensed by a subsidiary were also sold.
