DENON Audio No.13 July 2005 - cover

A 14-page stapled brochure - DENON’s regular pure-stereo amplifier catalog No.13, July 2005. The headline event is the debut of the PMA-2000AE “Advanced Evolution”, the fourth revision of the PMA-2000 series at ¥150,000 (excluding tax). A lineup of five integrated amplifiers and one tuner, all on DENON’s own Ultra High Current MOS technology - a single push-pull output stage where one UHC-MOS replaces 35 conventional MOS-FETs: the flagship PMA-SA1 at ¥660,000 with a full-balance design and a natural-wood volume knob, PMA-SA11 at ¥360,000, the new PMA-2000AE at ¥150,000, PMA-1500RII at ¥68,000 in gold and black variants, the bestseller PMA-390IV at ¥39,800 (also in two colors), and the TU-1500 FM/AM tuner with AM-stereo support at ¥33,000. On the back cover - a comparison table of all five amplifiers across 12 parameters, plus a curious panel about the brand renaming: in 2001 the old 日本コロムビア “デンオン” (Denon in the old transcription) officially became デノン (Denon in the modern form), and the catalog itself is already issued under デノン コンシューマー マーケティング.
