Ten amplifiers and decoders for all three formats of the era: the top separate stack AVP-A1-N (AV pre-amplifier at ¥400,000) plus POA-T3-N (3-channel ¥200,000) plus POA-T2-N (2-channel ¥150,000), all Lucasfilm THX5.1 licensed; the world’s first integrated DTS+Dolby Digital+THX5.1 Ultra unit, the AVC-A1D-N at ¥350,000, with two 32-bit floating-point DSPs and 96kHz/24bit DACs on every one of its six channels; the integrated AVC-3800 at ¥230,000; the AVR-3200 receivers (gold and black, both at ¥130,000) and AVR-2700 at ¥88,000; and two standalone decoders to upgrade older receivers, the AVD-1000 DTS at ¥70,000 and AVD-2000 Dolby Digital at ¥66,000. The closing spread shows two reference setups: one with a BARCO VISION 708MM projector and Stewart screen at ¥4 million, and a more modest one with a Hitachi widescreen TV at ¥1.74 million.
