The flagship DMD-S10-N runs the proprietary AL24 Processing and a 24-bit 4DAC (110 dB SN, mono recording up to 148 minutes), below it the DMD-1800AL-N and DMD-1600AL-N/K use the ALPHA processor with a real 20-bit ΛS.L.C., then the DMD-1000-N/K, the budget DMD-800-N/K and the compact/system DMD-7.5LII, DMD-F88-N, DMD-80-K and DMD-M10. The first spread is entirely about AL24 Processing and the common MD recording and editing functions (program move, memory rec, synchro memory, level synchro, TOC write, disc recovery), and the back cover carries a large comparison table covering all nine base models.
