A brochure for the KENWOOD KA-1100SD integrated amplifier, July 1984. The centerpiece is the Super DLD (Super Dynamic Linear Drive) circuit: KENWOOD split the power supply into two independent transformers - one for low-power operation, one for high-power - keeping bass-range noise from the heavy output stage out of the quieter signal path. That gets you 180+180W at 6 ohms, 20Hz-20kHz, damping factor 1000. Also on board: Sigma Drive type B (2-wire speaker control), CD Direct Switch, dual MM/MC phono stage, and 8 input/output systems for a full AV setup. The back page is a price list for the wider KENWOOD line - amplifiers KA-990, KA-880, KA-770 and tuners KT-2200, KT-1100, KT-770, KT-100, KT-101.
- スーパーDLDサーキット - Super DLD Circuit - dynamic linear drive with separate power rails for low- and high-power sections
- 2トランス・マルチ給電方式 - Dual-transformer power supply - independent transformers for each amplifier section
- Σドライブ typeB - Sigma Drive type B - 2-wire speaker control to minimize cable impedance effects
- CDダイレクト・スイッチ - CD Direct Switch - straight-through signal path bypassing tone controls
- デュアルヘッド・イコライザーアンプ - Dual-head equalizer amp - separate circuits for MM and MC cartridges
