A joint catalog from Matsushita’s two brands - Panasonic and Technics sharing 16 pages in January 1989, each half showcasing its own lineup under the same Hi-bit DIGITAL banner.

The opening spreads are dedicated to Hi-bit DIGITAL technology: 16x oversampling, WARP (write compensation), ATLS (inter-channel noise suppression), and EDT (digital tracking). The robot mascot from the cover threads through the whole catalog.

Technics covers the Intelligent Compo D5/D7/D9 systems (D7 and D9 at 85W+85W), the DIGITAL☆LINK CD player series - P999, P777, P555, P333 - plus the portable CDer XP50 and the flagship EXE Spirits and EXE GPX wood-cabinet hi-fi components. Panasonic takes the second half: Intelligent Compo CD370/CD470/D8/D9, V-compo F5 and C2 with AV integration. The final spread has a full specification table and a National showroom directory.
