Pioneer’s complete summer 1996 catalog - mini systems to car navigation, every product line in one book. The dominant theme is AC-3 (Dolby Digital): nearly the entire LD range from the PIONEER CLD-R4 (¥54,000) through the PIONEER CLD-HF9G (¥170,000) supports the format, backed by the standalone PIONEER SP-D07 processor at ¥120,000 - this is the first full season of Dolby Digital on LaserDisc. Compared to the spring edition, MD has clearly grown: the portable PIONEER PMD-R1 (¥49,000), MD modules across the SELFIE mini system line, and the new MJ-P5 MD changer with tuner.
