Sixteen-page booklet on CD players from DENON, issue VOL.15, summer 1990. The cover and back-page theme is PRO SPEC. PURE & WARM, a nod to DENON building the world’s first professional digital recorder back in 1972. Eight stationary models from the flagship DCD-3500RG (¥248,000) with a gold faceplate, solid-wood cabinet and a real 20-bit Λ S.L.C converter on four DACs, then the DCD-1650 (G/B), DCD-1630, DCD-1530 (G/B), the six-disc DCM-444G auto-changer, the DCD-850 and DCD-650 with D.P.C. (CD playback pitch shift in 0.1% steps), and the only portable in the lineup, the DCP-50 (¥26,800). The 1530 has optional ACA-62 wooden side panels.
