A 12-page combined DENON and COLUMBIA catalog, issue No.3, November 2000 - the whole Nippon Columbia lineup across every category at once, with a trumpet, flute and sheet music on the cover. On the DENON side it tops out with the S1 series (the POA-S1 mono power amp at ¥2,000,000, the PRA-S1 preamp, the PMA-S1 integrated), a CD chain from the DP-S1 transport with its separate DA-S1 DAC down to the DCD-S10III, the PMA-S10III and PMA-2000III amps, AVC-A1SE and AVC-A10SE AV receivers, the DVD-5000, the DP-900MII turntable with DL-S1 and DL-103R cartridges, SC-777SA speakers and the DN-M2300R pro DJ players. On the COLUMBIA side there are the retro “音聴箱” record players (GP-70, GP-38), the CDV-1500 and CVK-800 home karaoke units, Elepian electronic pianos (EP-G1, EP-3600), plus CDo cassettes and house-brand blank MiniDiscs. This may be one of the last combined “DENON / COLUMBIA” issues: in 2001 Nippon Columbia’s audio business was spun off into a separate Denon Ltd. We also have issue No.4 from January 2001, but whether any catalogs followed it is not yet known.
