DENON Concept E-2 April 1983 - cover

An A2 sheet folded in four on the compact CONCEPT E-2 stereo system under the DENON banner, launched as “That’s Tape Entertainment”. The ¥149,000 system is built from three components: the DC-2 deck receiver at ¥87,000 with a 22+22 W amplifier, an FM/AM tuner, a cassette deck with direct track selection from an 18-program memory, ALC recording and Dolby B noise reduction, the fully automatic DP-2 turntable at ¥35,000 with a protective tonearm lift, and a pair of two-way bass-reflex SC-2 speakers at ¥13,500 each with a 16 cm woofer in a metal cabinet. The deck receiver is already DAD (CD) ready. The back lists the options: the H-2 dual cassette unit for high-speed dubbing at ¥75,800, the DM-18S, DM-105B and DM-85SU microphones, the AH-89, AH-77 and AH-P5 headphones, the AMG-10 head demagnetizer and DENON DX series cassettes.
