A brochure about a single CD player, the DENON DCD-1610 at ¥89,800, on an A3 sheet folded in half. The whole pitch revolves around “リアル20bit” with 8x oversampling and a pair of S.L.C units independent per channel (スーパーリニアコンバーター, Super Linear Converter borrowed from professional gear), plus the anti-vibration internals: a BMC pickup mecha base on a double floating suspension and a “バイブレス” (Vibless) double chassis with top and bottom reinforcing metal, all shown on a cutaway of the unit on the cover. The second spread is given over entirely to a promotional manga, “欲ばり20bitのヒ・ミ・ツ” (Yokubari 20bit no Himitsu, “The Secret of Greedy 20bit”), about how the engineers pushed the 16-bit CD signal up to 20 bits. It ships with a 10-key remote with motorized volume, has optical and coaxial digital outputs and handles 8 cm discs without an adapter.
- リアル20bit / 8倍オーバーサンプリング - "real 20bit", 8x oversampling on top of the 16-bit CD signal
- 2DAC S.L.C (スーパーリニアコンバーター) - Super Linear Converter derived from professional gear, one independent unit per channel
- BMCピックアップメカベース - pickup mecha base made of stiff, vibration-damping BMC material on a double floating suspension
- 二重構造「バイブレス・ダブルシャーシ」 - resonance-free Vibless double chassis with top and bottom reinforcing metal
