The senior DR-L2 adds auto record volume, 2-point memory and microphone mixing, while the DR-L1 has a 3-position auto tape selector. The spread also shows the Pro moni headphones (AH-9, AH-7, AH-5) and DENON cassettes DXM, DX7, DX5, DX3, DX1. The styling leans “living audio”: the deck set in an interior with a glass and a pack of Lark in frame.
