Brochure for the DENON DTR-2000G DAT deck, June 1990. The brochure itself has a clever design touch - pages 2-3 feature a fold-out lower panel that mimics opening the control panel cover on the actual deck. The DTR-2000G is presented as a flagship with genuine Real 20-bit conversion (not interpolation) and the proprietary S.L.C. (Super Linear Converter) circuit that reduces non-linear distortion in D/A conversion. Price ¥128,000. The back page is a companion product spread featuring the DCM-444G 6-disc CD changer and DENON’s own R-120DT DAT cassette tapes.

Gets along well with the DAT deck. A CD player that can play six discs in a row from a dedicated magazine. Gold model.
The DCM-444G plays up to 32 tracks continuously when you choose and program your favorite tracks from the six CDs set in the dedicated magazine. If random play is specified, the same track is not played twice, and tracks are played one by one at random from each disc. Pressing the play button plays everything continuously from the first track of the first disc to the last track of the sixth. The exterior is the well-received gold finish. With side wood panels, it has a gorgeous look. Its design is unified with the DTR-2000G, so the two match perfectly.
得意技は“digital to digital”。 The specialty is "digital to digital". "Ultra-fine-particle metal magnetic material" is used.
DENON DAT cassette tapes use an "ultra-fine-particle metal magnetic material" and achieve excellent electromagnetic conversion characteristics. In addition, advanced tape technologies such as mirror-finish processing thoroughly eliminate the dropouts that cause errors, realizing the pure quality unique to digital recording. A binder system developed exclusively for DAT, a special back coat on the side opposite the magnetic layer, and hubs and clampers with improved roundness and straightness are also used. This makes outstanding durability and extremely stable tape running performance possible.
