A booklet for the SANSUI AU-F EXTRA lineup - three integrated DC amplifiers and a tuner under the shared “EXTRA VERSION” branding. The whole series is built around the Super FF circuit: direct-coupled stages without electrolytic capacitors, with a Diamond Differential input. The flagship AU-D907F EXTRA gets a full spread to itself - detailed circuit diagrams, internal photos and measurement graphs. AU-D707F EXTRA and AU-D607F EXTRA follow. The TU-S607 EXTRA is a quartz PLL synthesizer tuner, marketed as tuned to “disc-level sound”. The final spread shows silver-panel variants of the whole lineup plus the GX-A1 rack.

Built on Sansui's consistent policy of "living music reproduction that conveys even the sense of life in the music," this state-of-the-art amplifier gathers all the technologies that have been born and grown since the AU-707 and AU-607. Looking at the circuits alone: the wide-range DC that opened the DC era; the diamond differential circuit that pursued zero TIM distortion; and Sansui's own decisive circuit that reduced to zero every distortion arising in the power stage, the Super Feedforward System - the fruits of technologies that represented their time have been put in without reserve. Not to mention that the Super FF and diamond differential circuits have been perfected to the limit, there is the powerful power supply section, in which the latest approach has been applied on top of tradition; the thorough countermeasures against magnetic distortion, which can already be called Sansui's specialty; the MC position, designed with musicality as the top priority; and a particularly refined design, with real wood adopted for the side and top panels... - any one of them is worthy of the name "EXTRA," which carries the meaning of arrival at a summit.
