A full-line Technics leaflet for August 1981, covering the complete season lineup. Three main directions: “Technics ‘81” component systems V7, V8 and A5 built around direct-drive turntables and DC amplifiers; “New Audio System” with the Jacket Size concept - the compact “1982” with BBD and AC/DC power and the slightly larger “1981”; and the SPACE series now split into the R-branch (9R/7R/5R, rack towers) and the new T-branch (T1 through T9, System Component). A dedicated spread introduces the Aircheck Amp concept - R30 and R40 systems centered on an IC-logic FM cassette deck and 30W+30W tuner-amplifier for recording broadcast audio.
