Home theater amplifiers from Victor - the VICTOR AX-V707 (including the gunmetal AX-V707GM edition) and the more affordable AX-V505. An A4 stapled booklet with a secret fold-in at the back hiding the AX-V707GM. Advertised with Stallone: the spread carries a still from the film Lock Up (released in Japan in early December 1989) and explosion stills. All three models come with Dolby Pro Logic, D-D converter and DIGIFINE. The final spread shows the THEATONE system - a complete home theater package with SX-700 speakers, AV-33G2 TV and HR-S6600 S-VHS video deck.

The AX-V707(GM) and V505 sweep away this fixation. Built on a design that always puts sound quality first, an amplifier that pursues the functionality of AV: its very name is Hi-Fi AV Master. It carries the Dolby Pro Logic circuit, the latest AV function, and a 5-channel power amplifier to enjoy it to the full. Moreover, sound quality is polished with a luxurious configuration in which every channel is discrete. Further, to bring out the full quality of ever more plentiful digital sources, the AX-V707(GM) has a built-in, newly developed “DD converter” that achieves astonishingly high characteristics in reproducing minute levels.
