Elcaset uses 6.3mm tape - same width as open-reel, but housed in a cassette shell measuring 106x152x18mm. Three-motor closed loop dual capstan transport, 9.5 cm/s tape speed, ferrite heads, Dolby System, three tape types: SLH, Duad and CrO2.
