Six-page brochure for the SONY WM-20, the Walkman from October 1983. SONY claims it the smallest and lightest Walkman in the lineup - and indeed the body matches the dimensions of an audio cassette. The spread breaks down the engineering: power circuit, ultra-thin BSL motor (brushless, slotless) and a new headphone type. The back page covers specs and accessories: several MDR headphone models, battery case, AC adapter, plus mini speakers SRS-F20 (¥5,980) and SRS-20 (¥4,980) - also cassette-case sized.

Walkman (Sony's series of portable cassette players)
At last, the Walkman has come this far. Cassette-case size that is light to carry. This smallness and thinness are truly delightful. Of course, the sound quality is the traditional good sound. With new-type stereo headphones included, the "Walkman" is newly on sale in 4 colors.
